Hello
New opponent.
What else? another Sicily battle playtest of a map.
No wait it was a winter dress Sicily map used for Ca vs Ge in the Ardennes.
Ooops.
Got sidetracked - phuming over my record 1 1/2 year wait to have a turn returned to me from the ASL ladder membership. Anyways.
Its an awesome matchup. H2H makes it more challenging since it has several bad bugs and is not updated like SPWAW is - quite regularly judging by the 11 versions I have installed.
I look forward to Sept battles in WinMBT and WAW any version while hitting the books Kesh
Thanks greatly.

Hello.
This has got to be my longest game on record.
I setup this Kursk battle and played it out with numerous
aliases. I then switched sides and continued the playtest.
Kaki was simply one of the best all around testers.
He played the Ge side well. He then turned around and played the
Soviet side well also. He did not run away at the sigth of Ge armour
or Soviet for that matter. On the whole Luftsturm garnered the most
points without playing conservatively in each game.
Congratulations Kaki.
I look forward to battles in Sept while I hit the books as well at school.
Hello.
Great Sicily battle. The hill is nice and winding and the Ge air is really daunting [just kidding apparently Air cannot target as well if the slope is long enough] once it hits something.
This was a really great battle and an eye opener.
It took three setups to get things right!
Luckily Airborne was very patient.
I look forward to Sept battles while hitting the books.
Hello. Looks like I'll be in fourth now. This battle was well worth the drop in standings overall.
It was a WW2 battle pitting the Western Allies vs the Nazi's. The Rangers really shone again as usual. As well the '45 date seem to make the newer allied tanks really formidable vs the STG's and MKiv's.
I was able through some fast maneuvering to quickly gain a substantive material lead over my opponent. This only served to increase my glee that I had finally found infantry [not paras] that was able to stand up to Ge Panzer 'Stell'.
However, I then ran into the age old problem of defending everywhere. I was then counter-attacked mercilessly by my opponent. I was not convinced that he was fully commited for those attacks. My losses mounted. Having used my transport for close in fire support I soon found most of my leg units were too distantly located to turn the tide.
In the closing turns I was soon more tank poor than my opp. He defended the town between the hills soundly and his arty fire mauled supporting but late arriving infantry.
IN the end the game could not have finished soon enough.
It was arguable if my opponent had won or only tied despite the points difference.
Well played Willy. You are not so well rewarded in ratings points it would seem despite it being a draw.
I came out on the offensive and danstudentvcc conducted a sweet counter-offensive and was able to win the battle and secure the airfield. There are always lessons to be learned when doing battle. We started too aggressively and we paid for it.

Great game against Choowee. Dnieper battle. Germans and Soviets are racing neck and neck at times trying to be the first to the river crossings while dealing one another heavy blows.
In the end history relates that the Germans and their Human cargo of Soviets reach the river first with a trail of scorched earth behind them and many nasty engagements.
My German forces strategy was to consolidate as qucikly as possible into one large group while avoiding direct combat against the superior Soviet tank formations. The battle can go either way and the terrain is difficult and the retreat flags are difficult to accomodate while keeping on pace to arrive at the objectives without getting hammered.
