My plan was simple. Bring all of my troops up to the top of the map and attack relentlessly. I managed to capture an artillery battery on the second turn which immediately gave me a vp advantage. Robert staged a couple of counter attacks which I barely managed to repulse. In the end, my Rebs were able to overwhelm the Yanks.

Interesting little scenario. At first, the situation seems hopeless for the Union. I decided to sacrifice ground from the very beginning to try to save my artillery. Just losing one battery would create a Union defeat. Even though at times nearly half my units were routed, I managed to hold the line while my artillery ripped through the Rebs.
This one ended in an exact draw! I felt fortunate to escape with that. |

i made my main line of attack in the north and pretty much moved everything in that direction.when my attack went in a lucky shot on an artillery crew and i was able to overwhelm the union line.he was unable to recover from that and fought a stubborn but unsuuccessful defense once his line was breached.a good enjoyable scenario.

My opponent made some early mistakes allowing me to capture a battery and eliminate a regiment and allowing my rebs to quickly gain a major victory level. As the scenario seems to favor the rebs he surrendered rather than continue.
