I play both ASL and ATS and have more Berlin maps lying around than I know what to do with! If there's an upgrade pack (counters, scenarios etc) I'll definitely buy it, but I just can't justify buying a pack of this size at the moment (waiting for La Batt Moscowa to charge now too, so gotta be careful!)

If you already have them, it would seem to me to be hard to justify buying one of them all over again so quickly, unless you really really adored it and wanted to have matching map styles (as you can see from my reviews and pics, they don't quite match). If you don't have it, it is probably worth trying.

Thanks for the advice. I am saving for the releases that both MMP and CH. I already have the original Berlin expansion, so I am skipping it (if I can keep my impulses to a min.

good advice! It's probably really only for those who have serious counter/map fetishes or die-hard fans of that product. Hence the limited, printed per order release nature of it, made for those that had been bugging Ray to reprint/upadate it. I didn't have much of a problem with the map, the counters are what I wanted to see updated since there were a decent number of squad types and vehicles/guns that were new to the ASL system and wanted to see them in a standard format, not the older CH variant style.

I don't have either Berlin ones, but am seriously thinking about dropping for both, but both at 80 a whack, but still the topic interest me and the maps and counters appear to look good.
Advanced Squad Leader, it’s more then a game, it’s a philosophy, mindset, a metasyntactic variable; ASL on, ASL in, ASL out.

    Dave,
Will there be an upgrade pack available for those of us with the maps but who want the updated counters.....?

Can't say more than ASRomafan !! Hemmmm may be a little more in fact . This is my best ASL experience with a CG !!! But for others guys a little puzzled with CH! products, I can just paste this from the official site: This is a 'no whine, no cry, no cancel' offer. If you plan to whine, cry or cancel while we create your copy, please do not order! Only the ultimate die-hards can hold out in the FINAL DAYS and if you don't meet that description, this product is not for you.
All it said ! And I think the same thing. If you don't have this product and you're about concern to have it I think it is a good choice more if you own Tyrant's Lairs and enjoyed it. For others let's drop it but stop to bash CH! products without playing.
    I'm thinking that's I'm a liitlle engaged but well..... I don't like injustice.

it is right with Orsha as to my best ASL experiences. I think it is the best street fighting (urban) HASL by a mile. In large part to those incredible maps and the variety of urban 'terrain' you have to fight through. I'm really curious to see if Budapest can top it.

As far as CH goes, I think it is not for everyone. Some aspects of it can and have really rubbed some people the wrong way. Fair enough I suppose and some shrug it off and enjoy the product regardless, others hopefully might give them the chance (and credit) for trying to improve the products, and I guess still more have written them off completely and nothing they do will change their opinions. However I do think a double standard does exist for them, one can argue whether it is fair or not; they are not the only company to put out stuff that needs errata (or extensive errata), not the only company to put out stuff with confusing rules that need 'official word' from the designers, nor are they the only company out to make money. Oh well, I suppose one could talk pros and cons of Critical Hit for hours. They are polarizing aren't they.
