Thanks for telling us a little about your ASL experiences and what you like about ASL. The quality of the answers was high, and we got a mix of new and returning players. Welcome/welcome back to everyone.
Given that this is the Starter Kit sub-forum, we opted to determine the winner at random. For those not in the know, this is not the same thing as Random Selection.
We assigned each contestant a different coloured precision die (dark-red, light-blue, green, amber, saffron, etc.). For kicks, we gave the "cat" a white die. In any case, on the first roll, two dice came up fives, with the remaining seven being four or less. So we rolled the dark-blue (Chuck D) and white (Sparafucil3) dice again. Both came up twos! So we rolled again...
...and the dark-blue die came up one, and the white a four!
This would seem to support Sparafucil3's contention that his dice "suck," namely that they tend to roll high.
At any rate, the cat already has a set of BattleDice, and he isn't really that new to ASL--despite what some may say about his level of play.
So the grand-prize winner is ChuckD. Congratulations Chuck! You have won a set of four precision BattleSchool dice (green/blue/two white).
