    Backblast and wall advantage

Just thinking about this. The desperation penalty applies to infantry firing a PF etc from inside a building. If the inf have wall advantage are they still inside the building or not? I note that it speaks pf being inside the building not a building hex.

The desparation penalties are for firing from the Location, not for being inside the obstacle. So yes, you either take the +2 DRM or take the colored DR on the 1 column. -- jim

Definitely true. Although it's odd that the logic for an Opportunity Firer is that he rolls outside the building to fire in AFPh, despite enjoy cover of the building for D-Fire, but the guys who are explicitly outside the building & not enjoying cover either eat the blast or take the +2.
