Was about to post a thread about Free MMOs and almost forgot about this thread!
Below is a video with a guy listing his top 10 favorite free mmos. I'm a cheap bastard as I was curious what would anyone be recommending recommending?

I've tried a handful, but I found just about all of them so bland that I can hardly even recall their names. The only one I liked so far was Neptune's Pride.
Speaking of free MMOs, I am currently trying OGame. Only been playing it for two days - and "playing it" is a generous expression as the early days of the game are super slow with almost nothing to do but mine materials by the hour and invest them in half a dozen structures - but I do think there could be potential here. It is a popular sci-fi MMO with over 2 million players, so there must be something going on.

Yeah and not to mention there's about three types I've seen (in the fantasy setting anyways): WoW clone (Allods is the best example); Korean/Anime inspired generic world; Kid friendly with big heads and very cartoonish features.
Only a few caught my eye after doing a quick browse through MMOhut. The one that stood out to me the most was Uncharted Waters. It looks really good despite its anime-like influence in the art. The other one... ironically is Allods lol. Dunno why but the art is something I'm a bit of a sucker for. I have Dungeons and Dragons Online buuuut I haven't played it in a while. Allods does look quite interesting tho.
Also, I'd like to point out that Lineage II is now F2P as well though I wouldn't suggest getting into the game now. A few (like 7 years ago really) years ago might have been the best time when there were more people playing.
