Gents, I've got (not so) small problem - the first two BiA games (i.e. Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood) do not want to work under Win 7 Home Premium - they are installing without problem, but simply do not want to start. When I try to start the game nothing's going on. Hell, there are even no error messages. Is there any way to make it work under Win 7, or is there any patch to fix it?
I'm not familiar with Win 7, but in Vista, there is a setting where you can tell it to emulate Win XP (under 'properties', IIRC). Is there such an emulations setting in Win 7? That might help.

Yes, I've tried to run them with compatibility mode, but it doesn't have any effect (don't know why, it should run under compatibility mode without problem, as far as logic goes). It's a shame, so great series and do not stand the test of hardware time. I don't get it, much older games, like Europa Universalis, run on Win 7 without any problem.
I've solved the problem, there is a patch that you can download from polish BiA distributor site, when you want to play these on Vista/7:
for Road to Hill 30: ftp://cok:KaW9k_T@ftp.cenega.pl/BiA_...ista_Patch.rar
and Earned in Blood: ftp://cok:KaW9k_T@ftp.cenega.pl/BiA_EiB_Vista_Patch.rar
Enjoy!
Glad to hear that. Now it's back to war!!!!
