ASL Which scenarios are better: Red Barricades or VotG's?

Hi-

Having played scenarios from both Stalingrad HASL's, I think the better ones are in Red Barracades, less confusing and badly drawn map plus each scenario to me at least seemed fun and exiting, where as with the VotG's scenarios, it just seems like way too much over the top detail was needlessly added making the play of such scenarios really boring.

So far, the Commissars house is right up their with blood and guts as the best Stalingrad HASL scenarios.

Of course, if you love the VotG's scenarios, more power to ya.

Also, don't forget that VotG was released by MMP, which automatically makes everything about it crappy. I'm disappointed that MMP will be forced to re-release RB when Red October is read because it's going to be crap also with the MMP logo, even though it will be virtually identical.

The MMP logo doesn't mean a product is crappy. It just means it will be really f**89kin' late. Like years late.

Sorry, didn't mean to start a flame war. I have played one or two RB campaigns and problably that many scenarios from RB. I've played a couple of scenarios from VotG.

I haven't noticed any qualitative difference between the scenarios. You post did make me think i needed to play more of them.

But personally, I think that one might be pro German, The Germans have alot of FP to throw at the Russians and those cellars are the Germans best friend.
