Try allowing it to run and/or install with Administrator permissions. Also try running it in compatibility mode for Windows XP.

Thanks for the suggestion Dave. I managed to get it going. It didn't work installing the program using the 1stASLAP download or the setup file included in the ASLAP version I got, 5.99. I then used an installation from my Windows XP computer which have the necessary files in its ASLAP folder. It worked when I right clicked and choosed run as administartor.

Perhaps I should upload my version. I think it is a 98 version that is uploaded at the moment here.

Ages ago Kevin Pietersen gave me the source code for both versions of ASLAP.

If anyone is interested in updating ASLAP, and would want the old source code, drop me a note.

Pferraro - I wouldn't mind taking a peek at the source. No guarantees, but it might get converted to a java app, with the possibility of a VASL add-on at that point.

    Email sent via PM.

Edit: correction about the VASL add in, I was thinking about SALSA for solitaire... I gotta fire up ASLAP to remind myself what it does.

The IIFT is broken at its core.
Trying to squeeze results in between IFT columns fails because the 2D6 results have no halves, thirds, quarters or sixths to make it truly "Incremental".

I tried to also send a PM to you for the source.

I mostly know C/C++ and some java and SQL and bin/bash and C# I can't recall Pascal though...
