Yes...it's the old debate about gameplay versus graphics...but now with a poll out front.
How important are graphics in a game?
Register your vote. And don't forget: you can also leave comments, too!
- You cannot have a great game without great graphics!
- Graphics are important, but gameplay is equally important.
- Who needs graphics? All I care about is the gameplay!

The best games in todays market will have a balance of both, and perform well too.

Ok, so maybe as a personal preference then, lol.
You should have made it a poll to begin with, easier to track the responses.
Gameplay wins over graphics, as a personal choice.
But the other extreme holds true as well. The best game play in the world won't offset the migraine inducing crap-tastic graphics...
The IIFT is broken at its core.
Trying to squeeze results in between IFT columns fails because the 2D6 results have no halves, thirds, quarters or sixths to make it truly "Incremental".
This is interesting:
Even though the poll only has only garnered 8 responses, the graphics don't matter crowd only got 13% of the vote so far, with Graphic & Gameplay getting 50% and Graphics Rule! (for lack of a better term) crowd getting 38%! 'Graphics don't count' is a distinct minority.
Now, it could be people screwing with the poll, but I don't think so. I think those numbers are quite telling.

Graphics aren't as important as gameplay as what good are graphics if the game suks? I can play an old DOS game with 8bit or 16bit graphics and get more enjoyment out of it than most of these graphics oriented games of today with 32bit or 64bit graphics driven by these 1g graphics cards of the top teir. So, if you don't have gameplay and fun graphics are worthless.
Unless they restrict the vote to an IP address then polls will always be scewed. One person can make 100 logins and scew any poll. Just ask Gamespy from the 2004 or 2005 Best Game of All Time Poll and how people scewed that poll. Now, it could be people screwing with the poll, but I don't think so. I think those numbers are quite telling.
