Alas, my HP Deskjet 5550 printer is acting real twitchy and I am starting to suspect a complete failure is in the works.So, I'm wondering if anybody has any recommendations for an All-in-One printer? I have no preference for a brand but would like to keep the price under $150. Also, size is a factor so the smaller the better.

If I need a GREAT image I take it to the printers and let them do it.
For anything else, the cheapest item on sale is fine as far as I see it.
I think of printers as weird carrying cases for ink cartridges. When it runs out of ink, I throw the entire item in the garbage and get a new on sale printer which if you look around, will cost the same as just ink cartridges.

Sorry to bump this old thread. Disposable printers is the trend. I bought a "disposable" Epson the other day - the trend now is to build more features into them - mine has a fax, scanner, and photocopy feature. This was a machine purchased at Walmart for less than 200 dollars.
Separate ink cartridges are also the way to go rather than combined toner.
