    2009 ASL OPEN - AP5 - and Sweden

AP5 arrived today. Just in time to add some of these puppies to the ASL OPEN scenario list which should be out by next week. I already had the list in final form as I was hoping AP5 would arrive in time, which it has. A few days to review and then revise the list and out it goes to pre-registrants.

This year I dropped the number of rounds to 6 which also eliminated the Buddy Matches for rounds 6 & 7.

I've added scenarios that I call "Threefers". In any round play a super shortie (plays in less than 2 hours). Or in rounds 1,2 5 or 6 play the same scenario for the best of three. Play first game, play second game with the opposite side. If there is a split, dice for sides and play the deciding game for that round's win.

Pre-registers are coming in, thank you Joe Celebuski, Rich Spilky, Chris Garrett, Jeff DeYoung, Mike Naven, Alex Key.

A special thanks to the man who undoubtably will be the long distance registrant-Mattais Rannblom from Sweden.

    See you April 3, 4 & 5, 2009.

I seem to be quoting Doug often lately, but the same applies to me (and probably my brother)

    hi-

Unfortunantly, the first weekend of april is my drill weekend. I'll talk to my NCOIC and see if I can do a split drill, but I aint holding my breath.
