Should Michael Vick return to pro football

Michael Vick has certainly paid a heavy price for his involvement in illegal dog fighting. He used to make $20M a year as an NFL quarterback, now he makes $12.89 per month as a prison inmate. Quite a change of scenery.

Vick wants to return to the NFL and play football again. That's understandable considering he owes creditors $20.3 million and the IRS wants a cool million in back taxes. But should the NFL allow him to return? And what team would want him?

Yes if he still has the skills. I don't care what anybody says, he was at best an average QB. His running is exciting and that's what sells tickets. Listening to some of those idiots (mainly in Atlanta) you'd think he wins most of the time. Atlanta had one good year among many 8-8 finishes.

I agree with Skip Bayless who says he should play WR. Then he can still throw sometimes. The Raiders have to be the favorites as his new team. Al Davis is an idiot and will probably throw a bunch of money at him. If not Davis then probably Jerry Jones. He likes to overpay for flashy players that ultimately don't win.

After he has paid his designated penalty to society I'd say let him back in, if anyone will take him and I am sure they will. If they are prepared to accept any possible backlash for hiring him, have at it. He's good at running around and extending plays but his W/L record leaves a lot to be desired.

He should be allowed to compete for a job. Baggage will count against him, but should not disqualify him altogether.

I can't see any other way for him to pay those bills. He probably doesn't have much value for endorsements. Maybe a book deal?

Plus, I wonder how much he owes the mob?

Michael Vick should be thrown into a cage full of rabid pit bulls. If he can survive for 10 mintues then he can go back to the NFL. Hopefully, he'll then receive a career ending and life altering injury.

Don already said that in his first post:
