I recognize the bravery of our firefighters out west. Mr. Bitterpill, curmedgeon of the left, is one of those. I pray for his safety, esp in light of the deaths that a group of firefighters incurred this week during the accident in N.California.
We may not agree with his politics-a different issue--but to his credit, he does try to stick to his guns.
And, has anyone heard from him? Or is he busy fighting fires still?

I'll second your comments as well...I don't agree with him much; but he is a genuinely good person. And I hold all firefighters in the highest regard.

We'd all have said NORM (or rather BITTERPILL) and we'd slide a free beer with some chips or pretzels (bent appropriately to the left...or would he bend them right?) and say publicly
"Glad you're well, you crumgedeon of the left, tell us some war stories of fires fought and lives saved."
