    Rout

    All,
Unit breaks adjacent to a building. Ignores the building because it is no farther from enemy unit. Another building is within 6 MF's. Unless using low crawl, unit must actually get to the other building even risking interdiction. I can't take a different rout avoiding interdiction if it means he can't reach the the second building. Right?
    Thanks

Unless you choose the nearer building (that you may ignore), then yes.

Right. There are a couple of things which allows you to take a longer path even if it means you don't reach your rout target (FFE, Known Minefield), but avoiding Interdiction is not among them.

However, you are allowed to spend additional MF for entry/exit of entrenchments in order to avoid Interdiction, even if that means you don't reach your building - but this assumes those entrenchments are along the otherwise shortest path.
If you cut off my head, what would I say?

Also note that the places you can ignore (because they are not farther away from enemy units) is per hexes - not per building.

So even if one hex of a building can be ignored, there might be others that are part of the same building that can't be ignored.

Unless you currently occupy the building, in which case you can ignore the whole thing.

True, although in some cases your only choice is to rout upstairs (if that is possible) in the building you are in.

Um, no. That's not right. See Ole's explanation above.
