    Rulebook v1 vs v2 changes

Anyone got a detailed list of chaanges v1-v2 or know where there is one? I want to update my eALSRB from v1 to v2 and can't be arsed to OCR all my scans and chop 'em up and convert them to html. If I know that A9.2344531 has been changed then i can just swap that out, making my life waaaay easier. Always a good thing

    Cheers

Agree. The pain, effort and time it would take to bring a v1 up to v2 standard (if even doable) would not be worth it. Pay MMP to do the work for you.

    Ian,

Are you still too cheap and/or lazy to buy an ASLRB2?

Reread the post guys, it's my electronic version I want to update. Or have I been magically transported into a parallel dimension where MMP have put out electronic versions of both v1 and v2.

I'm not being cheap (this time), I'm being lazy rather than OCR every page and then chop it up into bits, if I know which sections have changed, I can just swap 'em out. At least that's the theory........

    Cheers

Probably not in the UK, but in other places you can feed a small family for the price of a rulebook. Good luck on your personal eASLRB!

If it is of any help, ASL Journal 3 has an article by Perry Cocke called "First Do No Harm" that outlines the changes made in the 2nd edition.

The tedium of comparing paragraph to paragraph, section to section ... ouch. I am under the impression that not a whole lot changed from v.1 to v.2 and used to play with v.1 until the reprint. I would physically put them side by side and casually go through the pages, with a copious adult beverage to sooth the process.

He's lying guys. He is too cheap to buy the rule bookl. Watch out for the other posts asking the best paper to print out "his" scanned maps and whether it is worth cutting out the counters that he's printed out on the special paper...

Note that I did qualify the statement that I'm not being cheap this time.....

I resent the implication that I'm cheap anyway. I'm more lazy than cheap.
