Ghostscript.
GIMP will not do PDF or PS on it's own. It might have a plugin to use ghostscript for importing.
Which Photoshop, elements or the full bore?
Ghostscript, I had forgotten about that.

And depending on what version of Word you have, Word will actually save as a PDF too.
Adobe Acrobat will allow you to copy selections within the reader. Use the select tool to copy what ever image you need to the clipboard (ctrl-c) and paste it into whatever graphics program you use, including MS Paint (which will save images as .Jpgs).
Edit- Aaahhhhhh, I didn't look at the date!! Holy necropost!!
If you can't be a good example, be a glaring warning.
I think PDF conversion programmes can enable to quickly convert files. i have use PDF converter which can original layouts hyperlinks, Images and tables retained in word ,text, image, Epub, html.but i forgot download the wedsite ,go to google. By the way , pay attention to your system platform, select the suitable one . I do this almost daily. I use a PDF converter driver found on the internet . Install it and it becomes a selectable converter option. Then you can convert PDFs to many forms in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat . Just open a PDF, select convert, and choice a form you want, then you can convert PDF into JEPG ,the task will be finished in several seconds. if you haven't found a good choice , you can have a try. best wishes.
