Sony drops hints on PSP2

Not sure current PSP owners will pony up for a tweaked PSP though.

That's what I was getting at, I wasn't saying that I wouldn't buy the next generation of the PSP (if there is one that is), only that I wouldn't buy a slightly tweaked PSP that plays the same games etc...

Its the same as how I wouldn't buy a slimline PS2 as I have a working big old PS2.

They should make the psp able to play ps3 games through the remote play

That wouldn't work for the vast majority of PS3 titles as the PSP lacks a second analog nub, L2 and R2, L3 and R3, analog sensitive buttons and the motion sensors. Thus suggesting that if it only works for very few games what would be the point?

I have to say, that rumours and obsession with rumours, usually indicates boredom.

The DS might have a new variant coming out soon, but truely, I don't care. If it does, or doesn't, it really won't interest me till the thing is on a shelf.

Agreed, Sony really needs to make a solid announcement to say whether an updated PSP will be released or not, these roumours have been flying around for god knows how long.
