    Replacement for DnO Multi

    Regulars,
We are in need of a replacement for AGC(b)--Army Group Center, southern sector. We are presently on T5, but I don't think any responding replacement will be needed to take over until T6. It is rather late in T5 so I think it best to introduce a new commander on the next turn.

Following is a list of formations you will control. It might seem like a lot to order around, but for many of them you won't need to order around the specific regiments, rather just give an entire divisional order (i.e. advance to hex x,y)

In case you haven't been following how the game works. I send all Commanders the beginning of each Axis turn. And after careful consideration, you send me orders for your forces. I will carry out orders to the best of my ability. There are four other commanders at this time for AGN, AGC(a), AGS and all the Minors.

    (In no particular order):

    -AG Mitte
    -52nd ID
    -2nd Armee
    -221. Sich Div
    -293. ID
    -XXXXIII AK
    -23. ID
    -131. ID
    -LIII AK
    -263. ID
    -4th Armee
    -VII AK
    -78. "Sturm" ID
    -292. ID
    -XIII AK
    -258. ID
    -134. ID
    -137. ID
    -IX AK
    -252. ID
    -34. ID
    -XXXXVII PzK
    -286. Sich ID
    -403. Sich ID
    -17. ID
    -XII AK
    -31. ID
    -45. ID
    -255. ID
    -167. ID
    -17th PzD
    -2. Panzergruppe
    -18th PzD
    -XXIV PzK
    -XXXXVI PzK
    -Das Reich
    -3rd PzD
    -10th PzD
    -29th MtzD
    -10th MtzD
    -267. ID
    -1. Kav Div
    -4th PzD
    -112. ID

    EXTRAS:
    -3 rail repair units
    -1 Supply unit
    -1 Brandenburg unit
    -75. Sich
    -13. SS Polizei
    -245. Stug

I might be forgetting some small independent units, but more or less everything is divided by formation. However, I will walk anyone who volunteers through claiming your forces.

First come first serve. Post here or send me a PM.

    Zac

Yes we need some fresh blood!

Some comments from a player to interested but maybe hesitant players:

    - you need not be an expert, I am not

    - The technicalities are trivial

    - it is great fun and adds something to TOAW play; here you can only devise plans, not execute them, Mensch will do that. It will make things more unpredictable - fun!

    - Issuing orders for an army group is easier than could be expected; a turn will take me half an hour to two hours, depending on ambition and detail. Write down orders like "54. Infantry division, with support of all of XXV.Korps units assault Lutsk, exploit to south". I just learned how to have the TOAW window and a word document open simultaneously on my screen, jumping between them, both still open and visible, so I expect issuing orders will be much quicker from now on.

    - The competition with other army group commanders is there somewhere and adds some spice

    - Our opponent takes it seriously, Foggy will make it difficult for you. Cooperation with your neighbours must proceed via Mensch, some confusion is the result, fun!

-(EDIT) Once you recieve Foggy's turn from Mensch, you have one week to issue your orders. Unless you are a CEO, you'll manage!

Don't be a Drückeberger, join, the Wehrmacht Needs You!

I am no expert on the eastern front and have never played DNO.
I can do once a week. So if you still want a commander (and do not mind the odd order now and then) count me in.

Could you mail me a sal. file so I can familiarize myself with the situation.
