ive got a black one and my mate has a white one we have had them for the same amount of time but his looks wrecked it started to go all grey and scratched
i would have got a white one if i knew they were coming out...grr
Definitely the black one. But white is also okay, but black is my preference,At least, white and black is better than yellow or red.
Not sure what is crazier, that I read this entire thread, or the actual thread
But hey Kraz-E, the DS is so utterly outselling your poor inadequate PSP that Sony has been forced to redesign it just so it can compete (if it even can than is).
Now as for dirt, even seen a white car and a black car? Black shows dirt off so well even the blind can see it.
But considering almost anything made to be connected to a TV is black, black is the logical choice. The other colour is normally silver. So I think white only throws off the look of your entertainment area. So I would even vote against a white Wii for that matter.
And red is right out of the question.
If you are a girl wanting to say, "its a girl's PS3 and it's in my bedroom which is totally girl", then coral pink is logical (but still not red). Maybe if the girls are lucky Sony will copy Nintendo and offer a coral pink PS3.
White make sense only if you are a gameaholic and want it to match your white Wii.

Then they should release a blue PS3 for all the little boys.![]()
I don't even want to imagine a pink PS3: i didn't ever want to imagine a PS2 or PSP but they went and made those.
I have both a black PSP and a white one and i think both colours are fine: I don't really prefer one over the other. Black goes well next to a black PS2 or PS3, and i've never seen any discolouring on my white PSP, just on the case, so maybe that guy just needs to take better care of his?
The silver PSP looks all right too: that would go great with a silver PS3.
EDIT: I'd really like for companies just to bring out different colours at launch and stop with the stupid delays because they think it'll sell better at a certain time period. That doesn't always work. They've got a few nice coloured PSP's out in Japan that probably won't see the light of day here or in the US because they think just black, white or pink is enough of a choice for us. Yawn.
Take the pink PSP for example: if they'd released that in the summer and not just before christmas, do they really think that would effect sales on the console overall? Of course not... no one would buy it anyway: it's a horrible colour. But still, in the quiet summer months known as the gaming drought parents would buy pink PSP's for their little girls because it's the summer and it would keep them quiet for a while, and they would also buy them at christmas for the same reasons. Releasing different colours at launch isn't going to lose sales is it? I'm just sick of the same old choices all the time.

I actually don't mind blue.
But my son has a white DS and mine is black. His shows off grime easily, mine doesn't. Which is totally contrary to my car analogy unfortunately.
You have two PSPs Steph? why do you need twoPlease don't tell me it's to match your outfit hehe or it's seasonal

Blue's one of my favourite colours; i don't like pink. I just don't like the stereotype that if a console's pink all girls must rush out and buy it. It's ridiculous: half the women and young girls that like video games don't even like pink or wouldn't touch a pink console with a bargepole.
I actually have 3: two black (US and UK), one white (Jap). All are used for different reasons. But i got the UK one free with my mobile phone, and decided to hang onto it rather than sell it straightaway. But i decided earlier this year that i'd sell two and get the blue one... only a ‘champagne gold’ PSP was released recently as a limited edition and now i'm not sure which to get. The Japanese have totally been spoilt for PSP colour choice compared to the rest of the world.
My DS Lite is ice blue btw, it looks a little more green than blue though but it's fine. It's different to the colours available here, which are, again, black, white or pink.
You have too much spending money Steph
Want to learn how to play Advanced Squad Leader?![]()

Why? I payed US dollars for both of them. If it was pounds i would've spent a lot more - another £80 at least. I know plenty of people that bought Japanese ones for £300, played them for a few months, sold them, and bought another a few months later. They're the one's with too much spending money.
And no, lol, i don't want to learn to play ASL: no time and i've only just managed to pay off my overdraft.
