    PBEM question

In PBEM games, how is the game options handled, when they differ between the two players (e.g. player A has FoW on and player B has FoW off) ?

really you should agree on which options to use before to start the game and both players should use the same options anyway with toaw III i think it's impossible to change the options during the game but i could be wrong.

Yeah, agreeing on options is the best, but mistakes and misunderstandings happens

In TacOps blue's options takes precedence, so that if red and blue has their options set differently, red gets a notification at the start of the game, that a) options differ, and b) blue's options are the ones used for the game. Just wondering how TOAW handled the situation.

The starting player's options take precedence, and the second player won't be able to change the ones that will have an impact on the game.

Exception is the Air staff assistant that should always be left off. Even triggering it on and off again will be felt by the opposing player.
