Off Topic thread about a temporarily banned forum member
Only check in once a week since these forums went down hill about 6 months ago.
However, if he is truly gone, I might have to check in more often.
So what happened? I saw something about him creating other user names. CAn someone fill me in?
If every post now is not in jeopardy of being highjacked, I look forward to being here more often.

He was posting as "Eli Wilson". It looks like the mods whacked that name altogether and reverted back to "Gunner Scott".
Didn't take long to spot. MMP/copyright/Chicago trolls. He could at least have the courtesy to make spotting him a challenge.
The first "Eli Wilson" in google-land is a preacher. Ironic indeed!

Yeah he is banned. However, many of his English 101 classmates have been showing up. They all seem to have the same opinions about MMP that he does... and about Pitman... and Wolkey... and the revised PM rules... and the SS... yada, yada, yada.

Shame that he could not control himself. I share some of his opinions but can just about manage to be civil. Scott needs to get out more...or maybe just get laid!

He is banned for 6 months. This has got to be his third or fourth ban. Wish they would get smart and just make it a lifetime ban.
He can still make aliases though and post that way, but he gets caught in 3-6 posts. I think a few years a go he had at least 5 different aliases before he stopped. Or the mods let him back in. Why? I don't know.
Once he made an alias named Curt Schilling and argued with himself over some topic. The guy is mental.
Reminds me of the term 'griefer'. Someone who doesn't have much of a life and gets his kicks out of pissing off other netizens.
In effect, he's banned forever. Yes, technically it's six months but god knows he cant hold back from making an alias for six months. In a month or so a new user will come on and have very stong oppinions about MMP, Pitman, etc and Scott will get busted. It's happened a few times now.
