Here are the basic rules for running your own free-form RPG on the forums.

  1. Give the adventure a distinctive title. This helps players keep track of the adventures and cuts down on confusion.
  2. Give some detail up front. Inform players which game system is being used, the setting, character limitations, etc.
  3. Update on a regular basis. I you start an RPG adventure, please keep it updated using the guidelines you present in your original post.
  4. Don't just jump into someone's adventure. Many adventures have strict limits on the number of characters allowed, although a few may allow as many as want to participate. Ask first.
  5. This is not a discussion forum. Please keep your general RPG discussions in the appropriate forum and keep this sub-forum for ongoing adventures.
