    War of 1812: Trivia #7

What states and/or Organized Territories had long term English occupation during the War of 1812? (Note, by "long term", that sets aside raids and the like, so Maryland with North Point and Blandesburg would not count)

Off the top of my head I count... 4

Also, count Louisana as "raid", like Maryland.

Yep, Michigan is one of them. Detroit and then that fort up north with the name that goes on for a week

    Three to go.

    Ohio & Vermont

I'm a bit rusty, so this is only an educated guess.

With Ohio, it depends on how you want to count it. Vermont is possible, I'm not entirely positive, so I'll be nice and give them.

Maine also (still northern Mass at the time)

The other two I was looking for?

    New York (Fort Niagara)
Georgia (an island off they coast they used as a raiding base)
