As of today (but not yesterday directly after the crash) the "New posts" search function is broken.
It only displays the "jump here" graphical marker that you can click on on about 1/10th of the threads.
If you click it again it doesn't re-display the threads it has just shown, it should do that after they are considered too old.
Never mind.
It appears that was a one-time breakage only.
I suspect that my login session from before the crash got hosed and messed up the display for posts new since the crash.
But since the malfunction earlier today it is now back to normal.
