Oh my God!
Is that taxable?

Just remember that it isn't really worth anything until you successfully convert it to spendable money.Originally Posted by CPangracs

Unfortunately the following formula is fairly universal:
M = Money I make.
T = Taxes I owe(.280M).
W = Money my wife must spend(.719M).
t = Toys I want(.005M).
T + W + t = 1.004 M
Guess which variable reqiures creative financing?

Nope - it's all in a Roth IRA, and a joint mutual fund, from which take the yearly distributions on what I've made IN CASH - which normally happens around, 12 NOVEMBER OF EVERY YEAR!!!Originally Posted by Doctor Sinister
Unfortunately, the part of the mutual fund I take out in distro IS taxable, but it's only going to be about $1000,...but it's $1K I DIDN'T have last year!

Anyway, go argue with Marx, Jesus (didnt he say something about 'interest'?) or Allah if you think thats an unfair statement.
Have you read the argument of the morality of earning money from money?
Can't just be happy for someone who has continued to invest in his country even after the 9/11 attacks, when most people were pulling their money OUT of the market because they were greedy bastards, and a war in Iraq, and who is now reaping the benefits of his belief in the resiliance of his country.Originally Posted by Temujin
Do you put any money in a bank that earns any interest at all? If so, then you have no room to talk to me about moral monetary arguments. If you DON'T, then you are, IMO, ignorant of your future.

I do a little but ive only got a dispsable income atm. I don't put it in the bank for the purpose of interest anyway, what little i have wouldt generate much, i just put it there because i'd probably forget where i put it if not.Originally Posted by CPangracs
