Anyone got any idea which AC's the French had available to them in Syria? I'm designing a scenario and the AWM source just mentions that the French had tanks and AC's but no mention of which AC's (the tanks were easier to track down....)
Cheers

Just another victim of applied metaphysics.
Presently, I think Syrians only have Russian ACs.
They work even better against kids and women.

Does this model count ?

Also, while looking up information on French armored cars, I ran across this site that might be of interest to people looking to design scenarios involving Polish armored cars: http://derela.republika.pl/armcarpl.htm#acSecond 'Armoured Cars': the French had an assortment of vehicles in Syria, some in storage may have been returned to use by the Vichy forces. Numbers and types are:
40 White Model 1918 (+17 not in service)
12 Laffly 50AM (plus 35 not in service)
16 Panhard 165/175 TOE
a small number of Ciroen Kegresse Schneider M23 (4 I think),
plus some unarmoured vehicles with machine gun armament (about 20).

The notes for the Automitrailleuse Dodge (French vehicle note 15) says specifically that it was built in Syria. See also http://www.warwheels.net/images/AMDo...eDATASHEET.pdf.
If you look at the "(Vichy) French Vehicle Rarity Factor Chart", the values for June/July 1941 will give some bound on what might have been available, which is the AM Dodge, the AMD 20 and AMD 50. From the vehicle notes it looks as though the AMD 20 was available in Syria. Per this source, the AMD 50 was also available. Per the vehicle note for the AMD 50, the "White armored car" (similar to the AMD 50) was also used.

Quintili Vare, legiones redde!
Try this one, perhaps?

The 178a and b models were still in service with the Sryian Army into the 1967 6 day war.
Widely used, widely produced, well documented in use throughout the colonies and the Middle East, force produced under Wehrmacht auspices until 1944.
A good representation I would think
