Specifically I am interested to hear about good H2H battles and preferably not bate shipped with the game. I am winding up a couple of PBEMs and am looking for idsas for the next games.

"Certainly takes a lot more effort to simulate each soldier down to individual bullets than it is to make a piece of cardboard that says "2-3-5"
First contact by G McEwan.
I'm actually quite disappointed that there are very few good scenarios out there. I can't make the, for toffee but I know what I like.
We need a Mad Rusian to build more high quality scenarios.
I actually think you get quite a decent H2H game from a QB in CMBN.
I like the one you and I are playing. I have 2 going with c3k that both seem very interesting (in one he had a much worse experience than you did in an open field...if ya know what I mean). I could probably give some good advice on some good H2H battles. I'm just hoping to get some.

Hee hee. I just noticed that not only has someone has given this thread 1 star (fair enough..everyone has an opinion about what they enjoy) but it also got one of those tag thingies that says "pandering and trolling" HA!! It is a shame that pale belly coward will never come forward to explain how a completely benign thread asking folks what scenarios they have enjoyed playing head to head is trolling. Well, ya little ****, at least I have to stones to voice my opinion in the light of day instead of scurrying like a cockroach, hiding in anonymity.

I liked 'Gegenangriff Auf Huegel 38'. Nice map and reinforcements kept action flowing for a long time.

Where can I find this? In BF repository there is "First Contact at Golleville " but it's not made by George McEwan.
Geordie and I are playing Keep Calm and Carry ON which is included in the release version of the module.
I downloaded the one you recommended and have it loaded for my next PBEM opening but someone sent me a PM saying it was one of those MEs where each side has semi-matching forces and the reinforcements grow in "strength" in an even manner. I've never been a fan of those types of scenarios. Now I'm a bit hesitant to try it.
