Unfortunately, BF3 is the only game that my video card can't handle (it failed that BF3 diagnostic test on the Nvidia website.) Wasn't a surprise as I could never get the beta to work properly. I guess DICE really blew the specs out of the water. It does surprise me, though, as the vids I saw made BF3 looks like a BC2 mod. Oh well.
Judging by my experiences with BC2, BF3 probably is a great shooter. I guarantee the MP will be better too as Arma was never good for jump in and play MP battles.
But that is about all I can say about it at this point.

BF3 has been a great shooter so far, but the latest patch changed it into a completely different game - a broken one. Weapon handling, vehicle balancing, out of balance suppression effect etc.. I have 120+ hours on my BF3 clock (Xbox 360) and stopped playing the game after testing the 'new game' after the patch for two whole days. A big disappointment.

I have BF3 for Xbox 360. I like it. It was the first FPS that I have played through the campaign completely in a long time. Online play is cool too.

I play it a bit and it is ok - I just hope they come out with a new version of BF2142 - loved that game - I would still play it over BF3 if there were some good servers
