IMPORTANT: Campaign Files for John Tiller Software Games

Guys - one of my playtesters on my team is helping to playtest a campaign file I just finished for a future release and during play he had a power loss. The .cpf file would not open up again. He had finished one 60 turn scenario and was moving on to play the next scenario in the campaign. Now it will not work.

He was playing the campaign Solo. As many of you play these games Solo please make a copy of the file now and then so that if somehow the file gets corrupted you can restore your game. I would suggest 10 turn intervals.

This may only be for the Leipzig and future titles. I am not sure. Just letting you know so you can be appraised of the situation. Might also affect Austerlitz, Jena, Waterloo or any other Nap series game released via HPS Simulations.

I had a power loss while doing my Eckmuhl Campaign Aar, as a local electricity sub station went down. Everything worked fine after....also had Waterloo saves and Jena solo campaign saves which were OK too.
Sounds like a nervous computer issue....mine has a mental breakdown every so often, only way to find it, is to get him to do the same thing and switch the mains off to simulate a powerloss and see what happens...............
