25 message limit is plenty; if you want the messages, do a screen capture and paste to a word document before you delete the message......

You also can download to a text document. Select the messages you want to archive (RHS tick boxes), click the "Selected Messages" box and pick "Download as TEXT", click "Proceed ...", do the usual file name and directory selection and save. The selected messages that you just have saved remain selected, so you can immediately pick "Delete" and "Proceed". Do that for both inbox and outbox.
Even though the limit has gone to 100 (thanks CyberRanger), I will try to keep my online stash to 20 or less.
