Scenario turned out to be a bit of a walkover for the Paras. Flukey LOS destroyed the Stug on turn 1. Gathered enough cannisters and surround them with a killer FG whereby the German player would be taking FP well to the right on the IIFT.
Scenario really hangs on where the bundles land, I barely had to move out of cover to get them, and the German player really needs that StuG to stand any channce of winning if the bundles don't land behind or close to his frontline.
Yes the LOS. is a nightmare on the WC maps, but I think it represents western urban type terrain very well. I read that the ver.2 map is being cleaned up a bit.
If I played this scenario again, I would try halving the scatter, & increasing the PP cost to 4 PP. To prevent the units with the canisters from getting free move if it breaks, & it later routs with the canister.
Also increase the number of canisters to 5, & change one of the objectives to the Allies must recover the most cans.
A few of the other scenarios seem a bit flukey, on the whole WC is a great module. We are on second turn of WC15 Through the side door.
