Guys,
Just about to play scenario 14 'Polish Stronghold'.
Do the parachute supply containers (SSR 3) scatter to the full extent of the direction dr or is it restricted to a maximum of 2 hexes as per C1.4?
Thanks
Paul

Hi ya-
We played it at full extent, nothing in the SSR mentioned C1.4, so we did not read into it too much.

Good question, Paul! Without having sought the answer, I simply played full extent.
thanks guys.
Could lead to some wild results. The Poles start the game in control of the location VC hexes, one container has dropped behing the Polish 'Frontline' and one is adjacent to it...an uphill struggle for Germans, methinks...
Hi ya-
What? Your not playing FB? What the hell is wrong with you? lol I'm gonna have to take away your mmp fanboy card.
Seriously, is this on vasl? or FTF?
Scott
"You got to step out into the open to pick up that supply can. at L18!"
Plus one as dropped into the marsh,(get yer diving gear on) & the other over at D18, & that a long walk over to that one.
You can just about see the supply canisters in attached pic.
Yes I have enjoyed our run through these scenarios. They are just right the size for playing on VASL.
W8ing with a fresh barrel on me MG42......

Without having the scenario card and exact SSR citation in front of me, if I wrote full extent of error, then that is what I (or the designer - Kurt Martin) intended. I'm fairly certain it was my translation from ATS, and in that system they used a d10 halved. I doubt I was referencing C1.4. It sounds like everyone has been playing it exactly as intended.
I hope you're enjoying the Oosterbeek scenarios. I still think that they might be smallish, but very playable in one sitting, and very well balanced and fun.
I can almost guarantee that these will see a 2nd ed. with the new format counters in the near future.
