Hawken is going to be a F2P mech fighting game, although it looks a lot different than Mechwarrior. The mechs seem really fast and fairly agile. The sound is also really good.

Hi. Yes I,ve heard of it. I think it was around E3 last year that G4TV did a story on it and showed some very nice looking gameplay fottage. Though I myself do not do mmo this looked like it was very fun to play.

Yeah, we have another thread on it bouncing around somewhere on GS. It definitely looks really good. I heard the team was making good progress on it, too.

F2P is going to be the savior of my wallet!
Also, I think the fact that so many high profile MP games are going F2P seems to indicate that the dew is very much off the console lily. Interesting trend.
