A friend of mine has asked me to find out if forum accounts "expire" due to inactivity. He will not have access for an extended period of time (at least several months), so he would like to know if there is anything like an expiration due to inactivity.

No. Take a wade thru the members list....there's many people that have gone for years without any activity, so your friend is safe (unless Don changes something, lol!).

There has been at least one person who was inactive for a number of years and had a lot of trouble logging back in to their account. Cannot recall the exact issue, but I think it probably had something to do with at least one Forum software upgrade while he was away.
Putting the "fun" back in dysfunctional....
