Burke's Joystick: Because Edmund Burke would have been a gamer!
Hmm.. looks like they're sticking to the three tech trees again, since there wasn't a Spitfire to be seen. Probably a premium plane flying in US or Soviet colours. Otherwise I'll pass. WWII era air combat simulator without Spitfires would hardly attract us Brits...
I got my hands full as it is with the tanks. Got an IS-7 finally.

How could they NOT have a British Tree?
What would be the point of WWII plane game without the Brits?
Although like you said they might be holding them back as premium & their "money makers."

Never had a problem with the WOT lack of significant British tanks. With the exception of the Crocodile (they don't "do" flamethrowers) and the Firefly, which is after all just a junker Sherman with a good gun the Brits never fielded a really winning AFV. Planes however... we had real performance. Mosquito was a class leader. Spitfire right up there. Hurricane not to shabby for 1940 and so on. Gloster Meteor.
We'll see. I signed up for Alpha.

I'm "in" the Beta testing for WoWP and in two words, I SUCK.
I'm so bad that I no longer even bother to fire it up even after I bought a new joystick (over uisng the mouse) thinking that would help.
But nope, I still can't fly worth a darn or hit a thing: although I was pretty good at exploding & being shot down.
The game must do what it's supposed to do as I had my sons give it a try and they were soon shooting down planes left & right. (dang youth!)
It looks to be a good game just not for me. I'll stick with World of Tanks & keep my feet closer to the ground for now, in that I'm pretty good.
