The new Fictional Civil War is now running. Pbem's have already been started for Turn 1. Will be interesting to see how this develops.

I have recently restarted work on my SL/ASL to WinSP conversion project.

Basically what I am doing is replicating all the ASL (Advanced Squad Leader) Maps to WinSP format for use by other designers and in my own Scenario/Campaigns.

Because you cannot "rotate" maps in WinSP I will need do 2 versions of each map. One with the board oriented N-S and the other with it rotated 180 degrees (S-N). This should allow for wide variety of use in scenario's. If you have the CD version of WinSP you will be able to use them in the Advanced Editor to crop, cut and paste ...

This SP blog will be replacing the old WordPress based Steel Panthers Zone. Feel free to post comments or PM me with recommendations or suggestions for new content.

Over time, all the information from the original SP Zone will be migrated to this new locations.

In an effort to corral some of the wealth information out there for WinSPWW2 and WinSPMBT I have decided to start my very own WIKI. At some point I would like for this to the foundation of a authoritative Handbook on Scenario/Campaign Design using those 2 games with the final product in pdf format.
