This is a discussion request for where others may think ASL might go for players to enjoy playing the game of Advanced Squad Leader.

I was involved with the Korea War HASL and enjoyed helping out with that development.

I feel ASL can be created for the 1948 Isreali/Arab War, the 1956 Sinai War and possibly as late as the 1967 Arab/Isreali War.

I also think that ASL can also be made for the Pakistan/India War(s) as well.

I have seen some "before WWII" information being shown in some scenarios, but I think these ...

Now thta Obamacare has been signed into existence, how much will Obamacare take away from your purchasing of new gaming materials?

Right now I figure that 1/3 of my purchases will be curtailed over the next 10 years because of this.

When designing a scenario to play in Advanced Squad Leader, do you try to keep the historical information in mind when designing, or do you "go with what your gut tells you"?

I personally enjoy playing scenarios that have a historical event tied to the scenario, but have also enjoyed some "Design Your Own" (DYO) scenarios that made the afternoon or weekend enjoyable.

What are your feelings toward scenarios?
