  1. Hard to believe I made my first post here over 10 years ago...

My first post on the forum was in May of 2001. Hard to believe it was that long ago.

    Where does the time go?

  2. Hair is for the weak

The last few weeks have been stressful but fun. Waiting for the baby, working out a lot, trying to sell my house -- all of it has combined to make for a very busy schedule. The other day I was shaving my head and cut myself for about the 10,000th time. I don't mind not having hair, but I don't like walking around looking like I got dive-bombed by a hungry falcon.

But I don't want to rest.

  5. Random thoughts about my new PC

Just fired up the new PC I built and finished installing Windows 7 (64 bit version). It feels a lot different than Vista and I can tell it's going to take some time to get used to. But all things being equal, so far it seems like a pretty nice operating system. The only problem I've encountered so far is that STALKER: Call of Pripyet didn't want to install due to a DX9 issue, which I was able to fix.
