2004 ASL OPEN in CHICAGO
When: Friday April 23 through Sunday April 25, 2004. Check in by 11:45 a.m. 4/23/04. First round starts promptly at noon 4/23/04.
Where: Best Western Midway Motel, 1600 Oakton Street, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 (about 15 minutes NW of O’Hare Airport).
Fee: $27 for pre-registration before 3/1/04 (postmark), $35 3/1/04 or after.
Hotel Info: $69 per night if you mention that you are with the ASL OPEN. The hotel allows a maximum of four people per room. $10 charge per cot per night. The Best Western’s phone number is (847) 981-0010.
Transport: Free shuttle from O’Hare Airport; Midway Airport users will have to take the Shuttle, cab, limo or CTA to O’Hare and pick up the hotel shuttle.
Teams: Teams of three players may compete for the Team Championship. The team with the highest combined score will be the Team Champions.
Mini Tournament: Any player starting Saturday without a win will be placed in the three round mini tournament which starts 9:00 a.m. Saturday. A player may opt out of the mini tournament by 8:45 a.m. Multiple mini tournament winners will each win a plaque.
T-Shirts: 2004 ASL OPEN T-Shirts remain $10 each.
Prizes: Plaques awarded for the top three finishers, Team Champions, mini tournament winners and for the Kent Smoak Sportsmanship award.
Raffle: Once again a great raffle with ASL and ASL related prizes.
