Another Turbine Poll- not as thrilling as some of their others.

Question 1
Please see the Poll at the top of this page. = {Do you feel the items and loot in LOTRO justify the time/effort spent obtaining them?} Yes/No

Question 2
Excluding Legendary items, do you feel the stat gains on items enhance your character’s performance and abilities in a satisfactory manner? If not, why? Please be as brief as possible.

My answers:
Q1- No but are they ever?
Q2- I guess so.
Q3- Sets are only for players who play alot. For casual players at lower lvls by the time you can get a set you are so much higher in lvl that the set is useless to you. At higher lvls casual players don't have the time or desire to GRIND away their playing time getting something that will add a few "stat" points to their playing enjoyment. So sets are really for those "high end" players. {I'm already grinding away my playing time due to mobs & traits instead of questing...)

Sets are a waste of time because I tend to quest here a bit, there a bit, and I usually level out of one area before I could complete an entire set anyway - so the higher end stuff in the next set already trumps the stuff you need to complete the last set.

Agreed.

There's some nice looking gear you can get for grinding in areas & factions.
Ex. in Evendim for turning in parts of old armor you get in the city for killing Angmarian's. but with the ratio something like 50 scraps = one armor piece and 25 pieces get you "whatever." Thats 1250 scraps to collect minimum, and you don't get a scrap per kill- too much grinding involved for me.
