I've found some basic tutorials at Repetti's site as well as some detailed SQL replays at Eric Pass's site.
Are there any other newbie oriented tutorials around for ASL or is Repetti's the 'bible'?

Well, if you haven't downloaded it yet, the Programmed Instruction article at MMP's site offers you an alternative way to tackle the big rulebook. You can also find a lot of tactical and subject specific articles in the various "View from the Trenches", found at www.vftt.co.uk. Obviously, you can also use chapter K (which I personally don't find that useful). Hope this can help,

Tom Repetti's stuff is among the best and most helpful. However, also very helpful is the "What is ASL" guide at the View From the Trenches website: http://www.vftt.co.uk/whatsasl.pdf.
There are many cheat sheets and player aids at my www.desperationmorale.com webiste, a number of which are aimed at novice players.
