A19.131 ammo Shortage and Radio B#

Does a radio break on a contact roll of 11 during an Ammo Shortage? It doesn't make "reality" sense to me, but:

A radio is defined in C1.22 as a 1pp SW. SW's have their B# lowered during an Ammo Shortage. So...

Anyone disagree?

I would not lower a radio's or phone's breakdown number due to ammo shortage.

How about, the battery is low on ammunition, and to abstractly represent the possibility of running out of battery support sooner than normal, the radio has a greater chance of malfunction.

[EDIT: By the way, the battery is considered to have Scarce Ammunition as well for draw pile purposes. C1.211]

I would think that only SSR would effect the radio.

Hadn't thought of it ever before. Any other weapons effect by this? The Goliath maybe?
