Last post? I'm confused.
Will you put these up for download? They really make the game a world better to look at.

I’ll try to answer that the best I can. Since I didn’t get much feed back on the waterloo demo Mod I have moved on to another project, sorry. The NRC units are basically done but I don’t actually have the game yet. I downloaded the NRC update off HPS website so I could get a copy of the OOB which tells me what units are what and I started building them at the same time I was doing waterloo. I was planning to do all the Napoleonic games in this format but lately I Feel like Rodney Dangerfield when I logon here so I have moved on elsewhere. I’ll tell you what I can do, when I finally get the game and test these graphics out and make sure they work correctly I will send you a Forum E-mail on where you download them. Maybe in 2 -3 weeks.

P.S. I have updated the Waterloo 3DUnit Mod in the download section if your Interested. I have corrected the Supply wagons and artillery limber teams to have the same base stand look as the others so now they look more in alignment with the other units. Picture of that is Here (http://ezjax.zoomshare.com/files/images/3Dmmm10.jpg).
ezjax,
Don't worry about appreciation. Do it for fun, and share it with others. I like what you did, and have your Waterloo version.
I've made several scenarios, mods and sold with official game CDs, and very, very few people ever tell me if they like them or not. I just do it for fun, and hope others will play them, and maybe evern like or enjoy them.

Ezjax:
I too use your mods for Waterloo and was hoping that you would complete the rest of the Napoleonic series.
This is not the most active Napoleonic forum website. If you want more activities and discussion, you need to join the Napoleonic Wargame Club and/or the International Napoleonic War Gaming .
I also use them and would GREATLY appreciate your continued support and PLEASE post these on this website............Your work is TOP SHELF :salute:
Thanks for the offer.
I think the Waterloo mod you made is a must have. HPS should put you on the payroll.
Hi
I dont usualy join in forum discusions either but I post this to say thank you for your Waterloo mod - when added with Chomski's mod it makes the game look perfect to me ! Hope you both continue (with FIW, 1812 and Punic wars  ) and if you dont well good luck with your other projects.
Thanks again (to both of you)

May have worded my response incorrectly, oops. But I am defiantly doing this for myself more like a challenge to see if I can pull it off.  What’s funny in most war games I prefer to play in 2D or square counter look mode, but with Napoleonic’s I need to see some kind of uniform information.
If you have any influence over the deployment team maybe you can get them to give the Cavalry and Artillery units each there own Base Stand with the same tile size as 3Dbases100b. Leave 3Dbases100a assigned to Leaders and routers. Just a thought.

Ordered this game last week, so it should be here sometime this week and MOD should be done shortly afterwards. Here is a look at some cavalry and artillery pieces.

as usual very good stuff........will be waiting to dload!!!
Lovely work, I can't wait to download them .. :)
NRC3DMod demo is done and located HERE (http://forums.gamesquad.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1364). Just like with Waterloo 3DMod there is what I will call 3D mapping errors, most noticeable will be Russian units mapped to the French OOB.
Thanks for your efforts Sir, I've got your Waterloo mod running in a second install I have made, to go along with some other alternate scenarios and oob's, I like the formation look of the troops...keep up the good work!
I put a update up there yesterday so I am not sure which one you have. The Waterloo and NRC 3D MOD’s are a experiment that got out of hand. It just shows a different way the game could look, and with some tweaking of the program code dealing with layering and offsetting you could produce even nicer effects. Of course I do realize you cant change things for unsupported MOD’s, I am just dreaming. You guys are probably working on a new engine system based off the Punic Wars Game engine away?
If not I would recommend these 3DView ideas be considered which would work regardless of what you are using stock or Mod.
Assigning each unit type its own Base stand tile. ( Cavalry, Leaders, Artillery and routing infantry all share the same).
Show only 1 leader per hex. (This would reduce some visual clutter. More than one leader in a hex produces a crazy gang pile on effect. IMO one is all you need to show that there are leaders in that hex. Once you click on that hex you would still be able to see all the leaders there in the Hex Info Area Box.
The ability to rotate the Map view. (Since there are 6 basic views for every unit then something like every 60 degree’s.) That way someone can control the 3D angle view to there choice.
Great Game
I have the Waterloo mod installed too and love it. I really appreciate you sharing this with us. I'm a member of the NWC and have most of my interaction there rather than here. I just usually check out this forum for anything interesing - like your mods:)
Thanks antonius, I believe visually it works because either by accident or design most of the Waterloo scenarios flow from bottom of video screen to the top or just the opposite. Using this 3D isometric view system, I believe is what the Developer calls it, the map naturally looks like it is moving to-or-from the corners of your video screen so you get the best view angles when 3D Units are coming towards you or moving away. If the scenario flows left-right it tends to look less natural. Most of the NRC scenarios were designed left-right which doesn’t get the best 3D view angle. It would be nice to be able to rotate the map during play or even be able to rotate the map in the scenario editor.
