Check this out, some Japanese company has made a peripheral for the DS that lets you jack into an amplifier and use the DS as a guitar - pretty cool if you ask me, but kinda pointless; still it shows the versatiliy of the DS and with the success of other 'non-game' software like Brain Training we can probally expect to see more inventive applications like this for the DS in the future. If they include other features like different guitar sounds, effects, recording, trading recordings with other DS users, simple guitar tuition etc this could actually be quite useful for people wanting to learn guitar, or for those who can't be bothered to lug their guitar around ;)

It's made by a company called Plato who previousley made an English Language Trainer for the DS.
