View Full Version : Map graphics bug?

I think this has been posted before, but I can't get the search to work.

In the map zooms different from the main one, the contour lines and other graphics are distorted. I'm running windows XP, ATI 9800 Pro graphics card, ATF both v1.03 and 1.04 showed the same effect.

Any suggestions?

Thanks. Yeah, I got search working and found the thread about the display problems.

Setting the game to run on 256 color setting works, but ATF seems to run sluggishly on this setting, map scrolls slowly.

I have DX9.0b, when I turn off directdraw hardware acceleration, that works too, but my other 3D programs don't run then.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

I seem to be getting excellent frame rates, but I should, since I consider my machine top of the line, P4 2.8 GHz, 1 GB RAM, ATI 9800 Pro video card.

My 3 GHz, 2 GB Ram, Asus Radeon 9800 machine still handles the graphics the same as the old 800Mhz standby. but loading times and siome such are greatly reduced :)
