What a bummer ,i was told today that cdv are not releasing cmbb in uk till 11th oct, what `s going on ?

Here's the latest on install problems some of us have been experiencing. This is an email I received this morning and maybe this has an effect on Europe as well.

We have identified an issue which appears to indicate a manufacturing fault
on some of the CMBB CD's. Some CD Drives seem to be more affected than
others.

The fault appears to occur about 85-99% of the way through the installation
procedure. On some systems though the installer will fail to run at all.

Depending on how far it gets it is possible to still play the game but you
will need to download some files from our website to do so.

As a "temporary" workaround I have made those files available for download

In short, everyone that contacts me will be added to a list to receive a
replacement CD.

Those that have indicated complete installation failure (and all Mac users)
will have special *emergency* CD's mailed to them over the next few days
in order for them to be able to play. You will be notified if and when
an emergency CD is mailed to you.

These emergency CD's are being burned by us, on our own systems and we are
limited in how many we can make and ship per day.

Everyone else will get replacements sent out once a new production run is
received into our warehouse. We expect to receive this new production run
by this Friday, October 4th.

Receipt of this email indicates that I have added you to the Replacement CD
list. No further emails to me are needed at this point. I will communicate
all updates as soon as I have the info.
