Possible to play EF2 on winXP??

Is this possible or do I have to find an old windows 95 machine?

You should be able to get it to run. I'm running XP-Pro and have no problems related to the OS while playing any of the CS games.

I run xp also, but after I choose a mission, I get the standard microsoft error message. Do I need the latest patch? Where could I get it?

I don't know if this will fix your problem though. I have as much tech knowledge as an eggplant. Check out the sticky thread in the main CS forum on XP -bet you will find your answer in there.
