I'm working on a scenario with the NKPA mod for RISING SUN that Wyatt Kappely did on

Any way I have this deal going with US Marines spread real thin on this ridge in IPs. And a whole rack of NKPA coming at them. Problem is I can not get the NKPA as the AI to attack with any speed. They have like four to one odds and just go so slow that they can't get anything done. If I play as the NKPA I over run and take the objectives at a good pace. I have tried varrios settings on the AI behavior modifier and tried different settings for the scenario type. Is there any way to get these Nit Wits to fight like men? I have done other scenarios that I did not have this problem with in DG,WF and EF2.
BTW there are a couple of minor problems with the MOD itself and Wyatt does not respond to my mail.
No 3d Icon for NKPA Battalion Foot command.
And 122mm mortars won't fire
Anybody fix those? Or know how to?
