Love it!! Very entertaining.
You did a lot better as the axis than I am.
Superb AAR !
Obviously Raver's getting far too good at this scenario, he's beaten me once already, and another in the offing :o

Pretty dramatic stuff, with both sides ready to take chances.
Now that was an AAR!

Very good AAR and it looked like a fascinating game. Why do some of mine seem to plod along so slowly? Must have been touch-and-go around Stalingrad for a few turns.
Thanks. Black and white worked for Spielberg anyway...
Let me also add a huge thanks to Chuck for this AAR - it was a real wet dream being able to watch the battle unfolding live on Chuck's website.
This was probably one of the most exciting EA games I've ever played. IIRC it was real touch and go around Stalingrad. After Moscow fell it took me about 4 turns before I realised that I really had to defend Stalingrad (I was too busy trying to retake Moscow). I reakon if the attack on Stalingrad had come a couple of turns earlier the war would have turned out very differently.

AH HA!!!! Is this the mistake you said Chuck made during this game that if I don't repeat it, I have a better chance at victory?
My game with Raver is almost the same as Chucks was, except I'm still at the working on Moscow/Stalingrad stage. Two more turns of Barbarossa and Moscow would of fallen real early...like Leningrad. Also, my error in thinking I had FOUR turns to use the TO and not six :hurt:
I did get a win by taking Grozny (@#&!@%! BUG!!!) but Raver wouldn't allow me to post my OV. BASTAGE!
Here's to hopeing I survive the winter of '41 as well as Chuck did:drink:

why'd you change the AAR images to b&w? It makes reading the screenshots alot more difficult.

Agreed. I had a hard time telling which units you were talking about sometimes, etc.
Nice idea, tho. (Never know 'til you try!)
Your website is not responding Chuck :(
